Bring a piece of (church) history into your home with this iconic Howe 40/4 chair, once used in the Broerekerk in Zwolle. The sleek, chrome-plated cantilever frame contrasts beautifully with the deep purple upholstery and laminated wooden backrest frame, making it a fine example of functional and timeless design.
Why “40/4”? The name 40/4 refers to its ingenious stacking concept: 40 chairs can be stacked to a height of just 4 feet (≈1.22 m). Ideal for flexible spaces such as churches, conference halls and event venues.
This chair is used but in very good condition. The chrome-plated legs still shine brightly, the fabric has no visible signs of wear and will provide comfortable seating for years to come.
