The two cream-coloured acrylic shades have a softly rounded shape and diffuse a pleasant, warm light.

What makes this floor lamp especially versatile is its adjustability. Both chrome arcs rotate independently, allowing the light sources to be positioned in different directions. The shades also have a swivel joint, so they can be tilted up or down. This allows you to adjust both the position and the direction of the light from each shade to suit your needs.

The combination of gleaming chrome, the warm colour of the shades and the slender double-arc frame gives the lamp a refined look. This striking design looks wonderful beside a sofa or armchair, but also makes an elegant freestanding feature in any interior.

Condition and electrical components

The lamp is in particularly beautiful vintage condition and has been fully cleaned and polished. The chrome is beautifully preserved and has an attractive shine. The acrylic shades have a few small, barely noticeable heat distortions.

The electrical components have been checked, and the lamp has been fitted with a new plug and a double foot switch, allowing each light to be switched on and off separately. Both E27 sockets are suitable for LED bulbs.

Specifications

Manufacturer: Dijkstra Lampen

Period: 1970s

Origin: Netherlands

Materials: chrome, metal and acrylic

Shade colour: cream / ivory

Height: 180 cm

Width: 90 cm maximum

Shade diameter: 28 cm

Socket: 2 × E27, suitable for LED bulbs

Controls: double foot switch, each light switched separately

Adjustability: both arcs rotate and both shades tilt

VAUT!
